Dort ist es mir noch nie passiert, dass eine Speise kalt auf den Tisch gekommen ist. Die Getränkeauswahl lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Das Tischdeko auf den Tischen und im ganzen Lokal ist angemessen und stilvoll. Das Bad ist stets sauber und allem in allem vermittelt das Lokal einen tollen Eindruck. Die Kellner sind jedes Mal besonders umgänglich und sehr zuvorkommend. Das macht mir bei jedem Besuch vollends viel Freude. Wir finden die Preise ebenfalls absolut Fair.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant St Paul in Lausanne. The food is authentically italian with creative pasta dishes. Tables are closeby so it can get a bit loud. Very welcoming and nice staff. As we pointed to pistachio missing in one pasta plate, they offered desserts and coffee to the whole table. Class act! ????
Belle expérience que ce restaurant italien situé à la rue d'Echallens. Jolie décoration avec de belles bouteilles. La carte propose des alléchantes pâtes artisanales.
Choix porté sur les "Fileja alla 'nduja, et saucisse fraîche aux graines de fenouil sauvage et caciocavallo de la Sila, sauce tomate, basilic". Rien à redire, excellent.
Et comme dessert, duo Dégustation : Tiramisu et cannoli siciliens.
Restaurant de haute qualité qui a son prix, surtout pour les vins.
Un des meilleurs restaurants italiens à Lausanne. Les pâtes sont fait maison et tous les mets sont pleines de saveurs. Ils nous ont aussi offert le limoncello. Sympa! Très bon endroit pour se détendre et partager un bon moment avec des amis!
We arrived at 19.30, the restaurant was packed and the sound level high. This Italian eatery is considered one of the best in Lausanne and we used to come here often but stopped some 10 years ago. The menu is restricted and lacks real vegetarian alternatives. In comparison, the wine list features many good alternatives some of which are rather pricey. We each had a pasta-seafood dish that were just OK and the 2014 Cabernet-Sauvignon from Lake Garda that we were proposed as an open wine alternative was at the very end of its life cycle, so not really up to our expectation. Over time while eating, we noted progressive rather intoxicating kitchen fumes and once out of the restaurant we quickly realized we needed to take another shower and put all our clothes in our washing machine, requiring a double cycle to get rid of the restaurant kitchen odors.The owners really need to get their act together and improve the evacuation of the fumes from their kitchen! Once and if that has been done, we might return.
Very tasty pasta here - it's a bit further away from central Lausanne but a minute walk from the bus stop. The portion sizes were very good, I usually find with pasta portions are on the small side, but not here. The aubergine starter was great, as was dessert, top class meal - about 55 CHF per person, including a drink.
The staff were friendly and helpful, even though some of them didn't speak English and we don't speak French or Italian, don't be put off! Recommend to anyone wanting some Italian food in Lausanne.
