Traditional chippy with proper chips that taste nice and not just look good. Everything is about taste and not just how it looks on a plate. Delicious!
Don't go at tea time to early' the chips are dinner time chips just reheated burnt and disgusting same as the fish' the price as well has shot up not impressed at all
Disappointed, especially when noting the reviews..... The batter was like an armored shell and I wouldn't really say the chips were good. Some people obviously like it but it's not one for me. To be honest it's the worst chip shop I've been to in Mansfield and surrounding areas.

We've been going here regularly for years. They serve excellent quality fish 'n chips at decent prices. The service is friendly and fast.
Been a customer for last 15+ years but not the same....called Saturday evening 7.30pm, prime time, you'd think!? nothing much cooked, what was there looked like it had been there a good while.
Asked for 4 fish bites to be told I could have 2 mini fish instead as we're same, told her there would be more batter and less fish, but didn't get a choice, dont understand why they couldn't have cooked me some fresh ????????♀️
If it wasn't for the fact we were hungry I'd have walked out...
Very poor service, even though the prices keep going up, naybe thats why the shop was empty!!
Never been let down by our local chippy. The portions are very generous (Seriously normal portions are large, and large are massive!). The staff are always super friendly, even if they are busy, which they ofter are. The food is always of very good quality and even our picky kids will finish every spot of food and be excited when we announce that it is CHIP FRIDAY!!!
