Richard is more of a magician than a brilliant car mechanic. He diagnosed and solved a serious DPF issue for me on a used Mercedes Diesel I had just purchased for my better half. He managed to fit me in at short-notice and saved me a trip to a Mercedes Main Dealer. Brilliant ! Thanks Richard and see you again.
Had an mot which bought up a couple of advisories. Richard didn't suggest the works need doing yet but within the next year.
Booked the works elsewhere, purely out of convenience and at a garage that I know well, and they could not find fault with the parts. They demonstrated this to me, double checked it and put the car on a shaker plate but no issue was found.
Was caught short today in Anstey thought I'd try a local mechanic but all I got was how many hours he worked and a total disinterest in my problems. So much for keeping it local. Total waste of space.

Had load of work over 18 months on my car at a cost of over £1000 within days of last repair something was was not right with the car and I rang Richard up explaining this to him rather than doing what most people would do and say bring it in he deflected any responsibility or good practice of customer service and suggested it was something that I was doing to the car by then attempted to review him on Yell as honest account and yell said because it was a negative review they would take it off irrespective of it being an absolute true account of my experiences Richard is very expensive not customer focused at all and doesn't like it if you take anything back if it if it hasn't been done properly.avoid
Update ...bumped into him and the was aggressive to my partner. Definitely avoid
