A really good selection of products. Staff are always pleasant. I haven’t yet experienced first-hand the delays in prescription pick-up now that they have changed policy (will only make up a script when you arrive) but the 1 hour wait time seems to be standard now.
I worry the queues will now put people off from popping in for off-the-shelf medication.
Really try to support local businesses but some significant operational changes meaning they no longer get prescriptions made up in advance have left me waiting 45 minutes to an hour the last three times I’ve been in. I just don’t have that time so I’ve unfortunately had to go to boots who do free delivery. Lovely staff though.
I have always defended this busy chemist in social media never again I have never been treated so unprofessionallly I asked to speak to pharmacist as the girl in the desk couldn't help me the shop was full with people hugging and puffing as they had had to wait so long for their prescriptions.i heard the girl say to the pharmacist she wants __shes rude to be honest !
Others in the shop also heard this how unprofessional when all I was doing was asking a question.
When I challenged another member of staff as to what I heard she was then rude to me ! U suggest that your staff don't assume that a customer is rude just because everyone else may be absolutely appalled
Certainly noticed the difference since Harry left. Then the pharmacy was one of the best but since then the overall service has gone down. One of its main problems is lack of staff to help you. Albrighton has grown in size and the Pharmacy is obviously struggling to cope with the extra capacity. Needs sorting. Waiting 50 minutes to be served is now the norm. Something need sorting out - and more staff would be a good start. Just phoned and asked if they have a certain item in - I was told there is no staff in and I shall have to come into the chemist as they cannot look for me - useless
Pharmacist not very personable. Very different from the days of Harry. Staff up against it with the demand on this pharmacy as the village grows however have found them unprofessional in their manner on several occasions when the pharmacy was in the wrong. Very defensive rather than admitting their mistakes and a simple apology and good customer service goes a long way.
Have been considering a different pharmacy for a long time but wanted to support local shops, however loyalty erodes fast when treated unprofessionally time and time again. I think a switch to an online delivery service is on the cards!
Too small a pharmacy for the amount of people who use it. Unfortunately this means some quite long waiting times and prescriptions can be in for 3+ days and not be ready. I feel sorry for the staff, I wouldn't work there they are constantly on the go and having to deal with moaning customers. The staff turn around is quite often, and I think they run at minimal or less than required.
I would give zero stars if it were possible, I have never seen such a disorganised chemists, you always find many people waiting and a one hour wait for a prescription that was placed a week ago, is the norm in here.
Probably the worst chemist ever pre- order prescription then wait over 45 minutes for it absolutely ridiculous Shropshire POD is meant to speed things up
