We went down to get some meat and veg and could not be happier with both the produce and the service. We were greeted on entering the shop and found everything we needed at reasonable prices
The pork chops are over an inch thick! Not like the thin ones in supermarkets these days. Since coming back to the UK from Cyprus 3 years ago we have struggled to find decentbfork chops until now. Just a shame we are only here for a week or would be using them more often
Best butchers we’ve ever been to, great stock of varied products, friendly service and the produce is amazing
A genuinely excellent team of butchers. I sampled the sausages, the bacon and the burgers, which were delicious. Look out for their own pastrami, which was easily the best I have ever tasted. The hog's pudding was simply sublime and every visit features a hearty Cornish welcome.
We bought some sausages, burgers and a lovely lamb shoulder which were all excellent on the BBQ. The range of goods on offer in the shop is great, just what we needed to eat for our holiday. The range is well thought out and a good price. The meat looked good and was local too. The staff were knowledgeable and really helpful. A super shop.
Awesome little shop, great quality meat, veg and fruit. They even sell fresh bread, make sure you get there early as it sells out quickly. Will be back for more bacon soon ????

Fantastic meat and other produce here. Inch-thick steaks are just ridiculous. Plus a vital source of quality supplies for local and emmets alike. Shame the gammons are a bit bitter, but that's just the other reviews on here :p
On holiday in the area, and needed ideas for my partners birthday supper. Decided on the sirloin steak, and can honestly say, was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Amazing! Not only that, the butchers area of the shop is open plan, so one can see everything. Finally was the friendliness of the butchers - proper service! If I lived closer I would use them every week!
