Our favourite restaurant in Geneva!
Hands down most delicious and fresh food.
Friendliest team, and great atmosphere.
It is always a culinary experience!
A hidden gem in Geneva. You don't find places like this very often. Only a few tables, a passionated staff with a frequently changing menu and excellent products. The are specialized in wines and Italian cuisine and what we ate was absolutely spot on.
We took the 5 courses menu (shared first and dessert) which compared to Geneva price is more than fair for the quality. Once a month they have a special guest chef and organise a menu around.
I advise to book in advance as the place is really small but that is also what makes your visit there such a special experience.
We booked for 5 person, ended up being 6. We kindly asked the waiter if we could add a chair on the side of the table. He refused, the proposal unfortunately in an unfriendly way.
We apologized, and informed the waiter we would then release the table as we could not leave the 6th person outside alone.
The owner and the waiter to our surprise started yelling at us in front of everyone saying that we had booked for 5 and that it was not acceptable. The exchange was very agressive, and really not matching our good will to arrange the situation. It made every person uncomfortable, at how dramatic both the owner and the waiter were behaving..
True, it was our fault to come with one person on top. It was a bit complicated to understand how they ended being that angry. Especially because the restaurant was empty, and there was really enough space to add a chair. In any case, you would not expect to be yelled at in a restaurant.
Can’t comment on the food unfortunately.
My suggestion: Being able to cook great food is a delight, being welcoming and professional is a must for a restaurant. You might want to work on the latter.
Happy to come back in 6 months to assess how you have improved the above.

J’ai adoré ! C’est vrai que ce bar à vin est assez petit mais très bien agencé et confortable! Les plats très bons et le dessert (chocolat et caramel beurre salé juste divin) ! Le service très accueillant et le chef de cuisine au top
The Place to Be ! Un service personnalisé et une reconnaissance du client digne d’un établissement 5*. Mickaël et Chef Francesco forment un duo haut de gamme de la cuisine jusqu’au service en passant par l’accord mets et vins. Grand bravo encore à vous deux. Je reste toujours aussi bluffé dès que je reviens. Je recommande fortement ils ont énormément de mérite.
Très chouette endroit. Cuisine et vin très recherchés. Dommage que le personnel soit comme il est.. j aurais aimé un peu de souplesse et de sourire. Suis venue plusieurs fois, ça ne change pas
The food was excellent, as was the service. As this is a traditional Italian restaurant, they serve the food as it was conceived: no changes or substitutions. In addition, the wine accompanied our food perfectly.
This adorable restaurant is a lovely little spot to try when in Genève. We were presently surprised and you will be too.
