Had a starter motor replaced by a mobile mechanic that failed within a month and I was recommended Reith Motors. They managed to squeeze me in on short notice and have a look. They discovered the previous mechanic’s shoddy work had damaged the starter, and were able to source and properly fit a new one on the same day.
Absolutely stellar service start to finish, its always a relief to find a reliable and honest garage. Thank you Graham and John.
These guys are salt of the earth. I can't recommend them enough. Their advice is always spot on and i know my car is in safe hands when I drop it off. They've never steered me wrong or tried to wring money out of me for 'extras' 100% the best garage in Leith
Five stars. My dad's been using Reith Motors for 35 years and more, I've been using their services for about 10. We can't fault the service provided and the high level of customer care.
My car was there for an electric window problem. First I was told they had all the wires and fuses checked and there were no problems so they had a contractor check it for them. The contractor said the problem is with the window motor, which they ordered a for me. They also charged me £60 per hour for labour. Three weeks of waiting and in the end it turned out that the window motor itself wasn't faulty at all. In the end I was left with non working mirrors and a £150 bill. However the main reason I am leaving 1 star is that I went to another garage and the guy said "I don't usually do electronics but I'll can have a look" and he found the problem in about an hour - it was a connector not making proper contact.
Other than that they did a timing belt on the car too. Haven't had problems with it so far.
Summary: Wouldn't recommend for electronics. They are good for mechanical stuff.
worst garage ever, never going to recommend anyone pls dont use them, they charge me for MOT over £350.00 and while sorrting my car indcator bulb they broke the side mirrior moter. when i told them to take ownership they charge me 1 hour of labour £60 pounds on top and make me wait 7 days,just to look into that and told me its my fault i dont check this with them before they started. all scam dont use them i got better quote to fix my mirror moter. shame on you guys what a scamer "graham"
Have had my car serviced here for quite a number of years and have always been very satisfied with the quality and service they provide.
Always great service here and top quality workmanship highly reccomended for your car repairs and servicing
Today I had a simple job that has done in about 1h. and so as good as always. I really recommend.
