What a fantastic place to visit. Very good fish n chips. Great banter with staff and customers when I popped in on a Saturday tea time. I learned who'd won the Grand National and that Huddersfield Town conceded another late goal again. Thank you and see you soon.

Since moving to Huddersfield with the ambulance service I've frequently visited Reed Street Chippy a little diamond in thr rough to be fair ,hot fresh food reasonably priced , i have to say that never ever once have I not been greeted with a smile,spoken to and engaged with ,a lovely local chippy with a wonderful feel to it ,i feel like a family member and not a customer.

When I first moved to marsh 2 years ago I honestly wasn’t a fan the food was always greasy (2021/2022)
So left it for abit and it got nice and began going regularly for mine and the kids food and had no issues until today
Casually eating my dinner chip butty sausages curry sauce and as I was chew the sausage bits of white plastic kept coming out ???????? I’ve had a battle with food recently due to allergy’s so this place was one of my safety food places.
Not no more won’t be returning that alone is enough to put me off for good
Now to hope I didn’t swallow none
Very decent portion size and good quality. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A really good chippy ????
Really nice fish and chip shop. Prices are better than most other chippies. We stop off here quite often.

I usually love your fish and chips but unfortunately since the last couple of times the fish has been very dry and the ends too hard . Not fresh at all . Your chips were not that good this time .
