Unexpected place in Swansea with Ethiopian food. The menu is quite extended and it's authentic restaurant. We had tge house platter with many dishes in small portions. Lots of food at fantastic quality for 25 pounds. We had to wait a bit for food, but it was delicious! Multumim!
Highly recommended!!!
It was a great experience for us having the Eritrean and Ethiopian Dinner. The food is absolutely delicious! The family who runs the restaurant is very kind and helps for choosing the dishes. Next time in this Area we definitely come back! Don't miss this experience!
I was the only person in this place for half an hour at peak lunchtime (13:15) today. The St George’s beer was refreshing and light. I ordered the lamb stew (zigni): look how glossy and rich it is. Delicious with the simplest of salads and injera. This could become a regular haunt. They take card!
This restaurant is very unassuming and there isn't much about it online, but I'm really glad we went here. I had a vegetarian platter and Fata which were both vegan. When it came out, my wife and I were amazed at how good it looked and also the portion size for the price.
The food was some of the best we've ever had. The flavours were so rich and we tried Fata for the first time and fell in love with the texture of it.
The coffee ceremony and popcorn was a really nice way to finish the meal.
We will definitely come here again and will encourage others to try here too.
Wonderful dinner with fantastic service - felt like family! Really enjoyed the zigni (delicious spicy lamb stew), perfectly sour injera bread, finished off with lovely cardamom tea. Excellent value for money. Would recommend!
Coming across this little gem of a family run restaurant on Mansel Street,
Swansea yesterday was a thrill... Sampling Eithopian cuisine and culture with friends... I recommend this ???? even on a budget its not expensive.
Delicious food and lovely relaxed atmosphere. First visit and will definitely go back. Well worth a visit
Super Delicious food and amazing staff ????
