We bought several dishes for the family and friends and to be honest it was the worst chines meal we have had. Our friends had Chicken Curry they said it was bland. Our dish we threw most of it away. The chips were just OK. We waited around 30 minutes for it to be cooked so it should have been fresh.
We visit this place for first time and our experience where good ish. We order chicken chow mein and house special chow meain. Both chow meins very good. We lile the little noodles ..but in the house special chow mein was just 2 prawn witch is not much for the whole meal. We also order honey ribs witch where very over cooked. And prawn cracker wasnt the best either. All order come to around £22. #NC500
What a waste of money. Chips were poor. Crispy Duck wasn't crispy. Pum sauce ordered but got duck in pineapple and special fried rice was dark brown and lacked anything special.
Very nice staff. Ordered meat spring rolls, chicken chow mein, sweet and sour chicken balls and chips. Food piping hot which was good. Spring rolls over cooked and tasteless.. Chow mein very dry and no flavour. Chicken balls had very thick batter which was very off putting. Chips just ok. Hadn’t tried this Chinese before and sorry to say we won’t return. Left a lot of food uneaten. Very disappointed. Will go to Golspie one again when we’re up this way.
Great service, but the food was very disappointing. Extremely dry and didn't taste of anything.
We live near Lairg, so if you have a choice, too, choose the one in Golspie instead. Way better.
We live in Dornoch but come to this Chinese every time we're wanting a takeaway. The staff are super friendly and the food is amazing. We usually get the chicken chow mein, breast of chicken curry & sweet and sour chicken balls, all of which are delicious but the true star of the menu for us is their egg rolls. I'm American and have found it hard to find a good egg roll (spring rolls are great but usually no meat and pancake rolls tend to be massive & stuffed with mostly beansprouts). Red Dragon's egg rolls are perfect and exactly what I want when missing a chinese takeway from home. Highly recommend.
Highly recommended ???? I travelled a good distance to get chicken balls & chow mein, both were really tasty with good sized portions. Chicken nice and tender. Very good ????
