Came for lunch and was very happily surprised of how good the food was. Not only was it good but the portions were large and we left very full and satisfied. The customer service was good too. We look forward to the next time we go. And for us vegetarians .. they have quite a good selection which was really nice to see. Thank you redcow! See you next time

Unfortunately the food wasn’t as good as the first time round. Service was still good, although one of the girls didn’t seem to happy to be there but the other girls were very pleasant . I normally wouldn’t change my review but I thought the business should know that the food was a bit disappointing this past weekend to perhaps better themselves. The vegetarian burgers came with literally nothing on them, no butter, no condiments, nothing. Just a bun and a veggie patty, quite dry. I have never had experienced at any establishment before with a burger. I will say the desserts were nice. No problem there. Would be a great spot as long as the food is consistent.
Was a little disappointed when I ordered my burger and it was just a bread bun and a burger no condiments in it just literally a bun and a burger. The staff was friendly and very welcoming and the dessert was really good. I’m still giving it a 3 stars because I went a few months ago and the food was amazing so maybe it’s just hit and miss.
Truly great food, from an extensive menu with huge portions and fairly priced too! Add to that a truly great pint of Batemans Beer and helpful, friendly staff and there's not a lot that could better the dining experience.
Went today for mothers day treat, 2 out of the 4 meals was good. I had ribs, 1st I couldn't cut, so very appolagic, and was replaced, but unfortunately by the same quality, my partner had mixed grill, med/ well, the steak was very rare and couldn't cut and was missing liver. Server was very appolagic said they had changed suppler, no excuse for the mixed grill. Would of appreciate the landlord coming over , but didn't, when I went to pay for the 2 meals, he said they ran out of ribs and used different suppler!!!! ???? sorry won't be returning
The meal was very nice and big portions, at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend. Friendly staff too.
Apparently the food is good. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and the bar staff were forever leaving the bar and going outside? Stood at the bar waiting for ages to be served.
Really great food. All home cooked and plentiful. Doesn't break the bank
