Simple layout, but excellent service and food. Totally happy to pay for the food rather than the decor. We shared the black pudding starter, had the pork, lamb kofta, and I managed to fit in the rum and almond cake. Given the fish and chip option, we reckon we did well choosing this place to eat.
Food was amazing. I had the corned beef hash and the cod. My husband had the chorizo and chickpea starter and the steak. We shared an orange bread and butter pudding. We'll definitely be back, it was fab and so good, it's just round the corner from the house!
So happy to have such a quirky little restaurant in Morecambe. The food was incredibly good - well cooked and imaginative, and well-priced, using local ingredients. The music and atmosphere were great, too.
We had the cod with chorizo, and a delicious flank steak with blue cheese. The pressed ham hock starter was second to none.
Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommended.

Just had a cracking lunch at Rebel Waltz on Marine Rd, Morecambe. Full of flavour, homemade, local, seasonal and cooked on charcoal and wood. The restaurant smells amazing. We had smoked carrot and chorizo soup, chicken wings with tomato, chilli and blood orange, lamb kofta and the flank steak. Such an imaginative menu. Great welcome and great service. We'll be back!!
A delicious specially-created meal for the vegetarian in our family, despite there already being a vegetation option on the menu! Fabulous puddings and chilled atmosphere... the chef obviously has a passion for cooking and we had a lovely evening.
Tables can be booked by messaging him on Google Maps, he replied within 20 minutes.

We had a very good dinner at Rebel Waltz. The restaurant is small and currently the chef is the waiter also. We enjoyed seeing him cook at the back of the restaurant as the food prep area is part of the dining experience. One of us had the soup and it was full of flavor and excellent. The other one had the chorizo in wine sauce and it was very good. We both had the lamb which the chef recommended and it had hints of North African spices while the rice was wonderfully exotic in harmony with the lamb. The menu will change periodically with patron favorites always represented. Will we go back? That is a definite yes.
