Stayed at the Travellodge,it was better this time than 2 weeks ago. We had a meal in the evening when we arrived, it was OK. Also had breakfast the following morning, it was brilliant. Probably one of the best buffet breakfasts we've had. Room was pretty basic, but OK for a one night stay. Handy for Edinburgh airport with buses going past regularly
Excellent rooms/bathrooms. Beds extremely comfortable and the staff at reception are so friendly and helpful. Absolutely love this hotel.
This is a 5 minute taxi ride to the airport, which can be arranged by reception, room was clean and tidy staff helpful and friendly, nice cafe for meals

Worry not:
very good night's sleep although close proximity to Glasgow Road (A8) and runway.
Public transport bus uncomplicated to departures... 7 min.
Excellent for airport travel being so close to the airport
We were really surprised, James the manager was super helpful, they really looked after us, and the breakfast was great value
Be warned not to park in other people's parking spaces if you're staying at the local travelodge. If you want your car boxed in and keyed down one side park at your own peril.
