A very cozy and welcoming tavern. Absolutely amazing and smiling staff. And you don’t have to be a member of the club to play, like in the "Hailsham club", where there are no people at all and all the tables are free, but you can’t play, since a subscription can only be bought in April.

Cold, scruffy, no atmosphere, no punters. Landlord very amenable and friendly.
A very enjoyable pint by the newly installed wood burning stove, all the main bar area has been re decorated, great pool table, well worth a visit.

Very good pub for drinks and conversation, first class service.
A proper old fashioned pub. Darts in the bar, football on the TV, friendly locals. There are too few of this type of pub left. Take this pub for what it is! The atmosphere is great so you don't need to have the best decor.
So many changes at the pub, looking very clean and bright. Lovely log burner and a warm welcome. Good pint if beer as well!
New owners have made changes - there are windows fitted to the front and it all looks much brighter inside. Friendly community pub with good beer.
It is not wheelchair accessible. Dog poo in "beer garden" from pub dog that hasn't been cleared up for about a week!
Expensive compared to decent pubs just around the corner.
