Barman was as you'd a barman to be. My friend thoroughly enjoyed his pint of ale which, looked absolutely class aesthetically. Unfortunately, I wasn't drinking due to dry January in full swing. The barman made me a cup of tea and a bourbon too free of charge too. It's the little things.
The pub itself is lovely. Clean, spacious and very well priced too.
Locals were friendly enough too.

After cycling 5 hours/30miles from Edinburgh, Nothing sounded better than a quick pint to support a Denny local before walking back to my parents. How wrong I was.
I have never been met with such hostility in all my life. The bar woman needs an education in customer service and manners. She clearly had no interest in serving anyone that wasn’t a local. Abysmal attitude.
