Wouldn’t go here if you have any faults with your car. Garage lacks attention to detail. Took to the garage as aircon blowing only out of left hand side. Clearly stated this was an issue to be fixed and to regas as well if required. Completely ignored just regassed so there’s one issue that wasn’t resolved. Additional to this I had booked the car in due to rear wheel bearing which also hasn’t been done. Will now need to waste another day without a car booking into another garage to actually sort this.
Would go elsewhere unless getting a basic MOT or basic service.
I went to this place 3 days ago to recharge my AC. They charged me 85£ for a recharge. 2 hours later the AC stopped cooling which meant there was obviously a leak somewhere. All garages should check for any leaks using nitrogen before refilling the system up but they obviously didn’t. I called on Monday to ask for some if not all the money back and whoever was on the phone admitted that they didn’t check for leaks and that i just asked for a recharge so it’s not their responsibility to check for leaks. He also added that that checking for leaks is a more extensive process. Anyways, i am already setting up a case with trading standards and let it take as long as it takes to put this garage down. It’s not about money anymore, it’s about the safety if customers using their services.
A few years ago they told me my car had a serious engine fault and would need hundreds of pounds of work, more than the car was worth, but they'd give me 100 for it and work on it in their spare time. Paid 60 for the privilege of this check. Got a second opinion and the car had too much oil in and 2 blown plugs, the engine was fine.
Booked in for timing belt. Very nice guys. Thorough in their work. Quick and easy service at a good price.
