Rim motors is one of those garages that are situated just off the beaten track. The boss is not too afraid to get his hands dirty and work as hard as his staff. He has a few youngsters there learning the ropes. Plenty of experience though to help them. Huge place plenty of bays and I was totally impressed with the level of service I got. Reception friendly but close the door if you want to keep it that way in this cold snap. Prices keen. Greggs around the corner. Will be visiting this place again and possibly forgetting places that do not match up to it.
Been here on a few occasions now from MOT’s to sorting a new the. Everyone friendly and efficient and happy to help. Prices and time waiting for jobs is also brilliant.

Be careful getting any electrical work done by their ' freelance ' electrician. Rang RIMS and after explaining the issue, they said cliffy deals with this. Never that he's freelance or anything. He rang back and said to bring it down. 3 weeks later and 2 parking fines totalling 140 pounds unknown to me, the work wasn't done, and now rims are telling me it was never their booking the issue does not concern them. I was never booked with them so they didn't have to inform me the car was stacking up fines. Even though I left them my number for cliff to ring back on. And rang THEIR number in the first place. And picked my key up from THEIR garage.. be aware
In reply to the emails, from the first time I spoke to YOUR receptionist on January 11th , 20th 25th and 29th, she only mentioned he technically doesn't work at rim on Feb 2nd. . For some reason obviously when I rang YOUR number to book the work nobody ever mentioned it wasn't with yourselves . Seeing as he does the work at YOUR garage. Cowboys the lot of you
This is the number one garage in the Vale. They do all types of work on all types of vehicles. Mark and his team now fit tyres as well as MOT, servicing, and all mechanical repairs. They are super busy, so you really need to book in advance to make sure you get your vehicle done as quickly as possible. They have a waiting room and a great service desk to help you with your needs. Always good service and very fair prices.
Great service. Car developed a fault on the way into work and managed to limp it around to RIMs on the recommendation of a colleague. I wasn't expecting a miracle at 5 minutes notice like some of the "bad" reviewers on here. But that isn't far off what I got from these guys! I was kept informed of the problem and had the repair carried out before the end of the day. It seems people expect their cars to get fixed for them for next to nothing and in no time at all these days. If you can't fix it yourself you have to expect to pay someone a reasonable price to do it for you!

Went to Rims last week, spoke to Linda who was very helpful at reception. Made an appointment for my car to be seen today. She gave me a lot of advice where to my door handle.
Went back today to get the handle replaced this morning. Spoke to John, I was happy with the time it would take to replace the handle and the cost.
