Didn't even ask what chips I wanted just gave me plain. The condiments had bugs in it and the pricing was inconsistent for the condiments. Gave someone free sauce while I had to pay £2. Didn't even give me a chance to change my chips to battered.
My usual Friday takeout was closed, so I sought a local alternative. I was relatively disappointed with my experience. I ordered a large fish and chips and thought for the price it must be worth my consideration, only to have fell short of my expectations. My food was being prepared by the member of staff while cleaning the surrounding areas with chemicals which caught me off guard. 0 for food handling. Onto the meal, I cannot justify the price of £12. I have tasted way better for half the price. The chips were just a handful. As fresh as they were, I expected the whole box to be filled with chips alone. The sauce tub took up 1/4 of the box. But what topped it off for me was the beyond bland fish. Not even salt and vinegar made a difference. Not that I was expecting the likes of Masala fish but that was some tasteless cod. Overall, I was fed, but sadly, I will not be re-ordering or revisiting.
These were the WORSE fish n chips I've ever had. All 3 Fish was obviously left over from last night. Battered Chips were burnt and unable to be eaten, again left overs. Even 1 star, is 1 star to much. Won't be using this chippy again. Pre covid best chippy by far... what's happened? Not the 1st time we've had the same problem, but thought it was a 1 off.......
Ordered a take out this evening and, if I’m honest, I don’t always enjoy it but it was faultless tonight. The veggie burger was lovely, others had kebab and fish and all enjoyed it. Young girl who took my order got it spot on so thank you!

Regular on ubereats... prices have increased a lot the past few months which is fine but tonight I paid nearly 12 quid for large kebab meat and chips and got a small portion, it usually feeds two. They refunded me in full so I cant say fare than that.
Had 2x Doner Kebabs and 2x small chips on Tuesday night.
After a long wait I received food.
The food was the worst I have ever had.
The chips were burnt on the outside but hard in the middle.kebab meat tasted awful and the food was barely warm.
That will be the last time they get my money.Had to throw in bin so £19.00 of hard earned money wasted.
Well everyone says how good this is so the first time I’ve used this and just brought a fish and chips. Half the chips are more like scratchings just burnt offerings really not chips and overpriced. The fish is ok but nothing special. Thank you to who has replied to this review and I will pop back soon when I have time and adjust this review if this appropriate. Well popped in for a replacement free meal and this one was lovely but I did ask how long the chips had been cooked and they were just coming out of the fryer. So thank you but it’s a pity the lady that served me the first visit thought she could palm me off with burnt offerings instead of saying they’d ran out of chips, as it was 10 minutes before they closed.
