Awful surgery, every time I ring (which isn't very often) it's always full within a minute of opening. The GPs have no intention of seeing you, you're lucky if you get a call back and that's all you can get. This is why the hospitals are so full. There is no way on earth that the receptionists can take enough calls to fill all appointments within a few minutes if opening.
Absolutely the WORST surgery I’ve ever had the experience with in wales!
Terrible receptionists which are rude and arrogant with absolutely no decent booking system in place.

Been in agony since last night with my hip rang this morning could not get through tried booking appointment online could not register rang 111 and they said I needed to talk to me dr and to tell them I had spoken to them I did so and got a call back to see my severe hip pain was not urgent enough and to call back tomorrow wow even though I have had 2 knee replacements and the right knee was collapsing causing huge pressure to my right hip queens road this is shocking customer service
My daughter was refused twice to see a doctor cause we were a couple of minutes they say they can’t help me with z medication as it’s banned which is a like cause my sister gets 7 zopiclone a week tonna got in touch with them regarding prescribing me trazadone and Skewen said they don’t prescribe it to any patient I tried this morning to speak to my gp they can open ask my gp but they won’t my mental health has been so bad but skewen just don’t care 1 bit
Best GP Surgery I’ve ever been with, always never an issue to see my children and myself when unwell, even near closing time. Doctors, Sisters, Nurses, Receptionists, HCSW are
all very friendly and professional.
I’m very impressed with this surgery. I phoned them this morning whilst visiting a very elderly gentleman who had become progressively more ill over the past few weeks.
A GP telephoned and spoke to his wife within an hour and a GP visited him at home very soon afterwards and prescribed antibiotics.

Very bad experience, the doctors actually treat you with indifference, they refuse to send you to a specialist because after a 5-minute consultation they think you're fine even if you're not and they also discriminate between patients.
Because of the huge demand, patients are required to inform the receptionist of the nature of their condition. This can be embarrassing, but I appreciate the staff do there best. Some of the GP's can be lazy and fail to follow up problems. This has happened with a few family members. One, Dr. Garreth Davis, is in my oppinion the best Doctor in the Surgery.
