My favorite fish and chip shop in the Penarth and Dinas Powys area! The chips are always fresh and tasty. I highly recommend trying the fish and Victoria pies – they're absolutely delicious! The staff are friendly, serving customers quickly. It’s understandable there's always a queue. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a really good fish and chips shop!
Fish time at the chippie in Dinas Powys. Friendly and respectful owner. Best fish and chips I've had in many years. The fish was well battered and tasty. The fish was large, fluffy and well cooked. Left a few chips due to the fish being so big. Awesome.
Chips were not fresh, sausage was bad and tasted odd, pie was crusty. Poor effort for a simple meal. Cost 7 odd quid and was not the best. Will avoid in future
The fish here was very nice and the sausage in batter was good too. The chips were great and it scored better than irene's in barry for quality and taste. Prices were reasonable.
Just bought s/batter and sausage and chips, let me just say that the chops went into the bin, they were dry hard and stale. The guy who was serving is what can I say, rude is not the word, neither and please or a thankyou. Also prices have rocketed, far more than other outlets selling the same products. Rip off.
Staff are not very diverse they demand minimum £5 on card for food that is bland they redeeming feature of this chippy is fast service and the very delicious curry sauce and gravy

Firstly had to make a minimum purchase of £5 if paying by card which is ridiculous and robbery! I'm a pensioner and this was extreme!
Secondly ordered a pastie and chips (was forced to add a fish cake to bring the price up to £5) which I did not even want! When I opened the wrapping up it was to find the Pastie like a brick and totally inedible and the chips were stale and hard! I will definitely not go there again and warn other people of the poor quality!!
My mum has been getting oap cod and chips for a few years and has always been happy with them but tonight.. I was served by a very stern lady who literally put about 10 chips in each box.. A joke.. Cod was fine but what an insult!!! Normally the chip portions are larger but there must be a huge cutback tonight or the ladies in a mood..
Mum won't be coming back sorry
