Whilst at work, I required an asthma inhaler and found I did not have one with me. As I do not live local to my work, I found the local pharmacy to my office and expected a long and difficult conversation and hefty price for a private prescription.
I shouldn't have worried as the pharmacy were brilliant...they took my details, checked on their system and within 5 mins I had an inhaler in hand and at no cost (I am medically exempt). They were friendly and polite and I was pleasantly surprised at this experience.
I would absolutely recommend using Qrystal in future. Thank you so much!!
Unwilling to help patient dispense a new prescription. They blame the inefficiencies of a 111 system that isn’t the patients fault. Something needs to change and I hope this review helps the pharmacy make this change. Communication with care is crucial..and this pharmacy lacks this. It isn’t a positive experience for patients.
Kind people, efficient and very knowledgeable. I don't know why others are moaning, they're always lovely to me when I go in to get my prescriptions
This has now turned into a massive rip-off. Said they didn't sell the OTC tablets (which I have recently bought from them), then sold me an alternative that after checking was tripple the price compared to other nearby chemists and even Boots! There is a difference between having a higher but reasonable asking price to sustain a small business on a high street and intentionally and outreageously scamming patients. Stay clear from this pharmacy. I certainly won't make the same mistake again.
I never thought I'd be compelled to write a review of a pharmacy, but here I am... Lovely people, excellent service. Would recommend over the other options nearby. I actually travel further to this place than my nearest pharmacy because they are so nice.
I used to use a pharmacy near my place of work. During lockdown I changed to this pharmacy as closest to home, now I predominantly WFH I have cont'd to use. The service is awful. I am going through my menopause & whilst I appreciate there are supply issues, this pharmacy have no empathy in helping. Every time I go to pick up there is a problem.
20/03 Prescribed 24 Everol 100 and 60 Progesterone 100mg 21/03 went to pick up the prescription, as usual the P was not made up (why do they not make them up then text regular customers? With 7 days to pick up or we will return to the shelf? Other pharmacies do) I was told only 14 Progesterone & 8 Everol available, took my phone number to call me, no one called. 06/04 I called to be told Progesterone are in stock but still no Everol, now I am at the point where I will run out, these people do not realise this combination are helping me so much, I still have symptoms that aren't helped, I am crying my eyes out now, as hell will ensue again once I run out, its not good enough.
Here's an idea Pharmacy owner...
Prescription arrives from Doctors surgery ask Patient/Customer would you like a text message service? When your prescription arrives we will make it up and text message you. Patients will have 7 days to collect or we will return the product to the shelf. If your medications are not in stock we will also let you know giving you the opportunity ASAP to call your doctor for an alternative.
My husbands prescription had been sent to this pharmacy in error ( he’d had an emergency prescription dispensed there on a previous occasion) . We asked for the prescription to be returned to the NHS spine so it could be obtained at our local pharmacy. It transpired that the prescription had already been claimed for even though the prescription and medication was still on the shelf. I spoke to a locum dispenser who agreed with me that this was not ethical practice and then offered to call our surgery and explain what they had done. Have not escalated this but i certainly could’ve done
Gave the wrong prescription because they didn’t bother to read the medication I had asked for. Made me pay for something I didn’t even want & were useless on the phone when I tried to ask why they messed up. Then explained they didn’t even have what I needed instead of saying it when I was there. Useless team of professionals
