I'm not sure what is happening with the appointment booking system but I essentially received a text message 1 week before my appointment reminding me of my appointment. I have had to call twice because I don't have any letters that come with the texts to explain anything (I have checked the NHS app and emails). When I tried to rebook one appointment (because I only had a week's notice) I was told I had to specify a reason that would be shown to my doctor. Really weird. The booking team have been helpful but there seems to be a bit of a loss of communication somewhere. For an appointment I had in march they called to book the appointment together and explained the procedure and sent a follow up email and it appeared on my NHS app.
What a friendly and professional service that I have always received from all the I have seen at the blood testing service and the x-ray department. Thank you all, and keep the good work up that you are doing at the NHS ????????.
Just had my blood test today nice and quick with nice friendly and polite nurses again, and the place is always clean ????
Receptionists need training. Brusque and abrupt rather than welcoming today. Really put me off. Totally different experience than on previous visits. Actual health care excellent as usual.
The phlebotomy department here is incredible. Always so quick and efficient. I am someone that usually has issues with blood tests as my veins hide no matter how much water I drink etc and whenever I've had blood tests elsewhere I get stuck with so many needles but the staff here are brilliant. Always one and done. The reception staff are also very welcoming and helpful.
I came on December 27th to do blood tests. Having a bit of fear of needles, I was quite nervous and the nurse was very kind, making me feel at ease and the blood sample was quick and painless.
The nurse also made sure I was okay after the blood sample by offering me biscuits.
There should be more nurses like this, I don't remember the name but thank you for your kindness.
Still on hold trying to book a blood test. Surely there must be some indication how long the queue is to speak to someone! Just “please hold, your call is important to us” for 40 minutes… not that important clearly!
Having to cancel an appointment because there are no female GPS available at my surgery referred here specifically for a FEMALE Dr and given a male one instead!!!!! I cancelled app and now won't treat what's wrong with me. This system is failing all of us.
Got a 7:40 PM appointment by 111 for consultation and X ray. When I reached there at 7:20 PM, no one was there to do the X ray. Lady at the reception also didn't help at all. Doctor & the receptionist were busy chatting insted of assisting a patient. Very bad experience.
