I'd always assumed remapping a car was something boy racers did, I thought it was something that would do your car more harm than good. After seeing an advert on how you can actually obtain better MPG with a remap I did a bit of research and opted for Matt and Titan.
He was very professional, he knew his stuff and after 2hrs on our vehicle the difference is quite amazing. Once the remap is complete Matt will ask you to take the car for a 10 mile journey and see what you think, he will then run the diagnostics again checking to see there are no faults. If you are considering such a service then these guys are worth every penny.
Fantastic experience with Protec.
I had a problem with my clutch on a Friday morning, my car was undrivable and I needed it urgently for work the following week.
Being new to the area, and being told by other garages I would have to wait over 2 weeks for the problem to be fixed, I called Protec, and Manny was able to fit me in, pick up my car and repair the problem the same day.
The service was fantastic, and he also sent me WhatsApp videos from the moment my car arrived to the garage, and full videos throughout the process of repair showing what he was doing and the new parts he was fitting.
I would recommend Protec with absolutely no reservations, and will 100% use them again in the future.

I work from my car so when the clutch went I was very stuck. All the other nearby garages couldn't get me in for a week. I limped to protec and they worked to get it back on the road by 6.30am the next day, saving me precious holiday time with the family.
The icing on the cake is they send you WhatsApp messages of all aspects of the repair and a thorough explanation of what they are doing. I've have never had better service and I've been to some great garages, but Protec really helped me out
I will certainly use them in the future.

Matt came down to me and happily worked around the times I was at work. He was an absolutely lovely chap, very knowledgable and explained what he was doing at all times. He mapped my fiesta 1.0 for me and I could tell the difference from the moment I got in. 10/10 service, 10/10 value for money. If anyone is considering a remap I would 110% recommend these guys. Definitely using these guys again to map my next car.
I discovered Titan remaps through Instagram and on reaching out got an almost immediate response to my queries, in an attentive, helpful, and insightful way. I was led through all the options available to me, with a clear idea of the results I would see so booked in. on the day of the booking I had some other problems with the car that Matt quickly resolved, before continuing on to the main remap work efficiently and with great care. After a couple of days with the car, I am so happy with the results, having a noticeable increase in performance, improved driveability, and a very cool, enhanced engine note.
