I walked in to the shop and the smell of freshly baked, piping hot Cornish pasty hit me. I asked for one of ‘whatever has just come out of the oven’ and it was one of their traditional pasties. I brought it back to the hotel I am staying at and 15 mins later it was still red hot inside. The pastry was light, crispy on the outside and soaked with pasty juices on the inside. The beef was beautifully tender, absolutely no gristle and the potatoes and vegetables were cooked to perfection. I can see exactly why they’ve won award. £3.80 for possibly the best pastry I’ve ever had… cheaper than an M&S meal deal! Don’t let me underwhelming photo take anything away from this review!
Best pasty we've ever had! Large means large! Incredibly tasty and full to the brim with meat.
Better still we were served by a lovely lady with a sunshine smile and friendly nature.
The best Independent pasty takeaway in Plymouth.
Not on the menu, but available to pre-order, the gigantic size pasty. Some say the colossal baked good is only ordered by 1 regular customer. called Dave. Others say it can feed a small family… for a week.
Proper pasties are excellent value. The owner informed me that prices have not changed in years.

This is the second time we've had these delicious pasties, proper traditional pasties, with real meat! Not mince. We're hooked on these now. Wouldn't get pasties in town anywhere else. Try them! You won't be disappointed!
