Stopped here when just passing through Matlock Bath as I fancied some chips. There seemed to be more chip shops than in Blackpool ???? so I just picked one at random, The chips were decidedly average and had been par fried and a bit over cooked but the peas were good though. Will probably choose another chippy next time.
We use this fish bar over the many others due to fact you can get seated within 10 - 15 minutes. Food has been fantastic over the last year..
Amazing! Think these are the best chips I've seen in a long time! My little boy loved them & the service was amazing, literally sat down & a plate of chips appeared!
Portion sizes were brilliant as well!

We ordered 4 small cods with chips for lunch along with 4 drinks. The bill was approximately £30 which is decent. We waited about 15 minutes for our food. Fish was yummy but oily.
The waitress was good as she came up and asked if everything was alright. Location was good too. There are loads of pay and display parking on the main road. But when it’s busy hard to find parking.
Mini fish meal £6! What an absolute delight this was. The fish was cooked to perfection and was just enough for me. We sat outside in the sunshine and watched the world go by.
It's definitely worth a visit!
We visited here yesterday evening and we are glad we did we were welcomed with smiles from the staff. The food was nice and good portion sizes. We were asked how the food was half way through eating. And at the end a member of staff offered my little boy a lollypop she was friendly and chatty. Amazing customer service we will definitely visit here again soon????

The very classic British food. Taste great, cheap and worth every penny. The customer service is top. Make you feel very welcomed. We should value this type of service. If in area again, will be back again.
