This garage will always be my go to. Lovely normal people that dont rip you off. I dont feel intimidated going here as a female because they are so nice & honest. Have always brought my cars here for MOTs & services. Trustworthy & reliable would highly recommend.

I have been taking all my cars to Paul for over 20years. Excellent service, never over priced. Wouldn’t want to take my car anywhere else.
Would give a 0 if we could. Took in due to coolant leak and asked for full service. Oil was replaced new oil filter ect ect was told he couldn’t find a leak and could be head gasket but repaired before telling us this. Next day after bringing the car home the oil was creamy inside so it was the head gasket. Wasted over £300 because we were not informed there was no coolant leak and that it could be head gasket. Called to tell them what was going on and was spoken to very rudely. Spoke to 3 other garages who all stated if there was no leak in the coolant pipe then it would be head gasket and should have been informed before they replaced oil oil filter ect ect would have saved us from wasting over £300 on a car that’s now not worth repair!
Do not recommend and when calling to state it was creamy asked if oil was checked I was called rediculous. We had had this issue and informed them not knowing of cars and trusted they could tell us the truth but going by what they said they clearly knew it was the head gasket and just wanted our money as they didn’t mention it until after we paid that the issue could be from that. Stay clear of this place. Not honest people and when asking politely what they could do they became aggressive on the phone. They got funny with me calling due to partner working and unable to call. No respect for their paying long term customers. Will be using another garage from now on. Will also be reporting to trading standards
Paul Moody has fixed our cars for about 4 years now and he’s always been brilliant at fixing them and doing their MOT’s. I’ve recommended him to numerous friends and relatives and they rate him too.

Fantastic service, kept me updated at each point on getting my 19yo Volvo V70 through its MOT. Their original rough estimate for doing this was £160...the final bill was £199.94. This however included almost a full day chasing down parts from and delivery of same from Volvo.
Not an easy place to find...but the standard is excellent. If you need an MOT or simply some maintenance or servicing...call Paul. You'll not be disappointed.
