Lovely, pretty village with plenty of walks. Last time we did the woods, this time we did the countryside circular. Very dog friendly and well signposted when to put them on the lead. Free parking in village.

This old barn has been left vacant for cavers to use to change for Swildons hole.

It's pretty gloomy and derelict in there, but its dry and provides perfect shelter and privacy from the public.

It costs £1 to use and the money can be posted 24hrs a day into a postbox on the door of the adjoining farm to the left.

I've visited the Priddy fair a few times but this time I used the extra wide bench to have my lunch on. Check your OS maps. There's a fantastic walk up to the glider airfield above Rodney Stoke. Circular walk too as you can return via Stoke Camp and the site of an underground fallout shelter. Below the camp there's a circular walk through the woods too with stunning views.

Beautiful reconstruction of the original sheep hurdles but that were burnt down in in April 2013.

Nice green area in Priddy with a bench and limited parking and a great place to start a walk and a local pub if needed - been through Priddy plenty of times and really like this area on the West Mendip way goes through here too

Went to the fireworks display...that are organising by the priddy friendly society. So excited to see them back. They were amazing, its a free display that asks for donations and more than happy to do that. Truly breathtaking safety was of their utter importance. Lovely atmosphere very welcoming

Love Priddy. Friendly people n well organised music festival. Could do with more bnb places tho, especially festival time. Queen Vic is good, such a well run pub

The green is beautifully cut, with plenty of seating areas, Queen Victoria Pub lovely pint of Guinness.
