Great pastry choices that are fresh and very tasty. Friendly staff who can help with selections. They have a small indoor sitting area to enjoy the pasties and perhaps a tea.
Really gorgeous decor, the cakes were amazing such a good choice. All baked in house too. My new favourite place for tea and cake.
Came here to support a local business whisky visiting Ludlow will definitely not return. Cakes were average, my hot chocolate was sour and had a sticky film across the top, the lady offered to make me a new one but made a point when she bought the fresh one out to say there was nothing wrong with the original. Overall the customer service was abysmal, as a tattooed woman I very occasionally get a funny look from the older generation but have never been treated so appallingly by someone for how I look. Clearly only one demographic is wanted in this place, because once their desired demographic walked in asking for a table said stuck up lady said "this young lady was just leaving" which I definitely was not about to as I'd barely taken a sip out out my drink. However I couldn't sit there any longer and be looked at like dirt upon this ladies shoe so my husband paid and tipped her (enough to cover the drink she remade)and we left.
Much better alternatives locally with much better customer service with other places who don't mind accepting your money and custom regardless of how you look.
This is a lovely olde worldly bakery come cafe,with a lot of the old original features to be seen inside...They have a huge range of bread's and cakes plus pastries in the shop on display.....There are a few tables to sit at to enjoy some lovely drinks and refreshment they have on offer....The staff were all very nice and welcoming......????
Always a pleasure having a light lunch. Sandwiches nicely presented. The staff are the cherry on the cake, always cheerful and welcoming, despite dealing with a busy bread/cakes counter too. 5 star rating.
Prices Bakery are an award-winning family bakery in Ludlow with a long tradition of producing traditional English and Continental breads. We visited at the end of October 2022 and enjoyed tea coffee and a delicious Belgium Bun shared between 3 of us. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely coffee, delicious pastries, especially the butter bun and custard bar.
Outstanding service and irresistible custard slice. Other cakes and bakes too, obviously!
Great location by the market.
