Wow what beautiful location!! A real hidden gem this place is if you’ve not been then definitely do go!
Myself and my family had a lovely time here, a lot of history here also.
All staff were friendly, helpful and very kind towards my little girl.
Ice cream was delicious and coffee spot on ????????
Highly recommended to go and visit, we shall be returning 100%
Great place, wonderful architecture and amazing setting.
Also lots of great cafes on site.
The woodland walk is worth a try if the door gets busy, it's nice and quiet.
Very well made, huge place with plenty of spaces for all kind of vehicles.
Its got its own toilettes, and connected to the town with a lovely walkway.
Very interesting place to visit, definitely recommend - especially if you manage to get a nice summer day. I can imagine with bad weather the place can be a bit bleak. Great architecture, great beaches with warm sea to swim in and great forest walks. Please note the car park is for free but you need to pay to get into the village - it's pricey but worth it.
Portmeirion is like no where else. I would suggest booking online to get a discount as it is a little expensive. However it is so worth it. If you like Italian architecture you have to come here. The experience is just incredible. It is like a little Italian village with everything you possible think of in it. Get here early as it does get crowded. Dogs are only allowed in car parks. It is quite steep in places but you can get wheelchairs and buggies in as its flat. There is a beach down a steep incline but check tide times. A wonderful place to visit. I loved it. The staff are so friendly and helpful also.
The village was pretty. The entrance had entrance fee of 17 GBP. There were public toilets and car parking.
My friend lost her phone inside the village. We then contacted the staff and they helped us finding it.
I even wandered outside the main entry point for village in forests, and found some gorgeous colored flowers on the way, sheeps and nice castle turned into restaurant/hotel.
Had a brilliant day out at portmerion it’s such a lovely vibrant place. Get your ticket from the helpful ladies and they will give lots of useful information about the history. The beach tide times are printed on your ticket which is a good idea so you know what time to head there and not get stranded. Make sure you pop and grab a sit down and a coffee to take it all in.
Not bad place for family walk. We expect something more interesting than just buildings. Have 1 restaurant on site but not so big menu, prices are to high.... pizza £10, drink £5
If you can, buy tickets in advance. Parking is included in price. Have toilets on site, just after entrance.
