Absolutely lovely fish and chips. Good sized portions, staff very friendly, clean and tidy. Did not have to wait too long, even though they were busy. A week ago we went to the award winning 'one' but were severely disappointed with dried out and overcooked fish, as were a few other people we have since met.
If you are in this area, would highly recommend.
This is a lovely chippy, right on the Seafront. Very reasonable prices and delicious food. Cooked to order, at the time, as was just closing. Staff is very friendly and polite. Was very clean and tidy, and tables wiped regularly. Fish was white and flaky, chips weren't bitty and peas and curry were best tasted in a long time. Highly recommend
Lovely friendly staff ???? Decent portion sizes and tasty fish and chips especially for the price! We ordered the small fish and chips to take away and ate on the beach. Very reasonable ???????? I’d recommend and be back again!(whatever you do please don’t make the mistake we did first and ordered from PJ’s Fish Bar/Sweets next door (red building) ????
Friendly staff and nice food, not too expensive for a seaside chippy! Only negative thing about here was the outside tables could of been cleaned, as there were enough staff to do this.
Purchased 3 regular portions of fish and chips.
Good portion size, really fresh fish (which is not a given considering the sad offering Whitby has to offer!)
Also excellent batter and chips, top marks!!
Went in to order with my 2 small children and my dog after a walk on the beach, member of staff brought our order outside to our table so that I wasn’t struggling. Fab prices and great food, £3.95 for kids meals that include drink, main and a Mr Whippy icecream afterwards. My fish and chips were lovely too, we’ll definitely be back!
