Most beautiful beach I've ever seen.
Definitely my new favourite.
So much space due to less visitors perhaps because of convenience reasons.
Crystal clear water and white sand.
Beautiful scenery. Dog friendly too.
Kids absolutely loved it.
Felt more like being abroad.
Who knew such a beautiful place exists here in the UK.. no aeroplane, passports needed. If you haven't yet visited you must add to your wish list. You won't be dissatisfied ????
Nice car park it can get really busy, I was there about 830am by about 1030 am it was probably nearly full or at least going into the overflow which I couldn't see, prices weren't to bad I used coins to pay at the first machine I saw when your first drive into the car park.
From here you can visit the nearby by poppy fields when they are in bloom around June time, crantock beach and poly joke beaches are not to far away.
It's a typical cornwall narrow road to get to it, not to far from Newquay if you fancied going there after for the zoo etc.
There is a height restriction barrier to this car park.
Busy but deceptively large car park, can get heavy traffic in surrounding lanes. Has 2 pay & display parking meters - one coins only the other contactless- hooray I thought, but alas it wasn't working. Annoying.
The poppies fields in early June were spectacular, acres of them.
Short walk down to beautiful beach- sheltered and great caves to explore paddleboarding
The walk from West Pentire to Polly Joke and Holywell Bay is one of my favourites, beautiful views and you can find a quiet spot to have a break from walking or just sit and admire the views.

Great car park, affordable price and great if you want to walk to Polly Joke beach. Can pay using cash or contactless payment. Currently lots of seals nesting in a sheltered cove on the left hand side of the beach. We must have seen 20 seals. Also worth checking out the gramaphone repair next door.

Getting in and out of the car park was a nightmare. Too many cars on a tiny narrow road. There were 2 payment machines, 1 only took cards and the other coins. The card only machine was not working. No option to pay by phone as is common in car parks these days.
The nearby coastline and poppy fields are stunning.
