Staff always lovely and helpful. Good stock but even if they don't have something, they offer to order it for their next delivery. Offering lots of discounted things past BB date. Can't fault it
My partner is polish so we visited this shop as we have only recently moved to Colchester - they sell out off date items, please see the images below. I am 4 month pregnant and if I have eaten out of date cheese not sure what the consequences could be!

A good range of foods. The staff a very limited english language skills and I always feel uncomfortable when I go in. They seem to prefer serving polish people. The staff always seem like they've been harassed and tired. Further more the owner never seems to be there.
Came Saturday morning and fridges were empty. Lady behind the counter has advised me that deliveries are now on Mondays.... we left with shopping for £5 as none of the products we wanted weren't available. Stars awarded only thanks to friendly staff
Edit: I've downgraded my rating and edited my review, as since the original posting we were treated very rudely by one of the people who works here, who apparently doesn't like ???????? Russians. Too bad, we will never darken their doors again. Now I know what it's like to be on the receiving end of prejudice, ignorance and racism.
Love it, so many different products one could not fund anywhere else! Excellent service too.
I think it's currently the only Polish shop in the centre and it's got quite a big choice too. Staff is also very friendly and if you wan't to try Polish food, I'm sure you'll find something for yourself there ;)
1st visit. Seemed well stocked. Would go back if in the area again
