Three day stay to celebrate my wife's birthday. We are returning guests and wow this stay yet again did not disappoint. Firstly fantastic staff & Emma you are an absolute star for arranging my wife's flowers, balloons & banner. Rooms absolutely spotless & breakfast was stunning as ever. More than enough even for the largest of appetites. There should be a five⭐+ rating on here to show how much we enjoyed our stay again. Will be returning. See you all soon ????.
Enjoyed a Sunday evening meal with a party of 11 people.
Menu was good and varied.
Prices were reasonable.
Service was very good.
Meals were very enjoyable, with well cooked, hot food, (where applicable).
The venue was very pleasant and although it was dark when we visited, it looked beautiful outside.
The car park was large and convenient.
Altogether, considering it was our first visit, we greatly enjoyed the experience.
Hotel has been taken over by Harrison Hall and no longer does evening meals. Beautiful grounds and hotel. We had coachmans cottage which was quaint. Used as a wedding venue midweek. Good and plentiful breakfast .
Wonderfully quaint! The location of this property was beautiful and the grounds were exceptionally well kept. Our room was basically a little cottage and was lovely! With breakfast included (which was also absolutely amazing) at such an excellent price I would 100% return.
I couldn't fault the place it is absolutely up there with one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

This Hotel truly is a gorgeous, family run Hotel in a beautiful country setting! Although it has been three years since we last stayed here , it was just as beautiful, with excellent staff as always. Special thanks to Simon, Collette and Harrison for making our stay as relaxing as always. We highly recommend this Hotel with its amazingly gorgeous and individual styled bedroom décor throughout. The food is excellent as is the table service. Staying at this beautiful place so near to Christmas was an added bonus for us as the Christmas decorations were quite breath-taking! Full marks, 5+ stars and a guarantee that we will return! Thank you!
Had our wedding here in January and we could not have asked for anything more! Peter, Harrison and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. Nothing was too much hassle, and even with the short time scale (planned in less than 2 months) they catered to our every need and created a package that was everything we wanted and more. |Even last minute changes weren’t too much trouble, and everything was done in such a professional yet personal way. |The venue speaks for its self, absolutely beautiful with picturesque gardens, making it ideal for photos! Inside was decorated beautifully, with class and elegance. |Food went down a storm, and all our guests said how amazing food was! Plenty of food, and absolutely delicious- they catered to all needs, from fussy children to vegetarians. Absolutely no complaints and we highly recommend the Plas hafod to anybody looking to visit, hold an event or dine here! |We cannot thank the team enough for everything! |Beth & Scott x
Lovely place for a wedding. The food was outstanding and their leek and potato soup was possibly the best I've ever tasted. Fantastic roast beef dinner as well.
Only stayed one night but it was a delightful experience. We stayed in the coachman’s cottage. Very comfortable with all possible conveniences including fridge and microwave. Double bed was very comfortable. Lounge and bedroom clean and tidy with homely touches that made the experience a real pleasure.|Breakfast was included in the price. Delicious high quality full English couldn’t really be improved upon. Remarkable value for money, in lovely quiet garden surroundings. |I only write reviews when I am moved to.
