We stopped here for a takeaway a few weeks ago (6 of us) and will most definitely be calling again, Yes they only take cash but there is a cashpoint literally across the road! This is most definitely a case of "Dont judge a book by its cover", yes the place is cosmetically a little run down and could do with a lick of paint but it was clean and the staff were very friendly and polite. As for the food.... this has to be the best Pizza and take away we have eaten. They were extremely generous with sauce, cheese and pizza topping, the pizza dough was crispy and soft in all the right places- has to be the best takeaway pizza we have eaten. I had spaghetti bolognes and the pasta was cooked to perfection, you could just tell the sauce was home made, full of flavours and one of the best bolognese sauces I have tasted, we also had some olive dough balls and the dough was divine and tasted so fresh drizzled with garlic and butter. I look forward to our next trip to Bala.
Honestly this is the worse place I have ever been in my life. The beer was absolutely disgusting serving it in 15 year old glass and flat as anything. The food was also disgusting and clearly not cooked properly, Wouldn’t even feed it to my dogs, please avoid this place at all costs!!!
Tried to go to Pizza Plas but the wait was too long so came here instead. Maybe the worst meal I’ve ever eaten. Needs a Gordon Ramsey style reckoning. Also, it’s cash only which no one tells you until it’s time to pay. Avoid!
Very good lasagna and pizza and a very friendly service. They were understaffed but our waiter did the best out of that situation, thank you.
Only place open after 8.30pm on a Friday in Bala, little choice - It was terrible. Beers were off, bottle beers we got as a replacement were warm, service was poor, place was a mess. Food we didn’t eat and the place only takes cash. Needs total reinventing.
The restaurant is probably the nicest restaurant in Bala. The food here is good and the service is great. The owner is very nice. In short, the highlight in Bala
