Great for what it is, a community cafe in a park next to the children’s playground. Quality is great, prices reasonable, staff friendly, good service, comfortable and clean. Not huge inside but there’s plenty of outside seating usable in the busier summer period. Hot food is done to order but the quality of everything I’ve had was worth any wait. I love seeing life going on in the park and the joy on kids’ faces; you do get noise on the seats by the playground but I’ve always found it quiet inside and on other outside seats.
I average a visit a week. My favourite cafe out of a dozen I use here and 2nd for the coffee taste. Highly recommended.
Excellent staff and service. Food, ice creams, and large range of hot & cold drinks
I enjoyed the food and my dog was made welcomed with a treat on our entry. Good location in the park and reasonable prices. The coffee was good too.
One of the highlights to come out Redhill’s recent improvements, is the arrival of a cafe in Memorial park. It provides a much needed focal point to park. The venue is fantastic and the menu has a wide range of options from pizzas to smoothies and ice cream. The quality of food is great too. It is a little pricey, but this is more than made up for by the excellent location.
Staff was rude chatting about making their profit! Very over priced for the food you get when could’ve got the same half price from cafe along the shops… the two ladies were moaning about making food and saying it’s the last lot of food they’re making today! Sort out your staff
Nice park with a good cafe. The young people running the cafe are pleasant enough, but some work to do in keeping the cafe and facilities clean and tidy. Maybe lacks the guidance and encouragement of a supportive manager.
The guy cooking the pizza could do with putting on less than the gallon of tomatoe he did and cutting the chorizo up a little smaller, not only would this make them more profitable but it would make the pizza taste better. Even my dog refused to eat it!
The rest of the menu seemed to be fine, the place is very dog friendly and the staff are lovely too, just the worst pizza I have ever been served.
I ordered a sausage sandwich. What came out was a precooked microwaved dry sausages in stale bread! How hard is it to do a fresh sausage sandwich, come on!
My wife got an egg and cress sandwich which had lettuce in it. Like eating egg shells. Why don't they communicate and ask if she would have wanted lettuce in it. After all I've never had lettuce in an egg sandwich.
My kids had sandwiches and fruit. My daughters apple was older that me.
Shame, it used to be good here.
