Historically have bought cakes from this store whilst the cakes were good and the store being local was convenient over the years the cakes have become ridiculously priced, inflation is understandable but greed seems more at play here as every year prices have risen around 15/20 pounds but i was recently quoted 135 pounds for a basic jam and buttercream 6inch cake. I have now ordered the cake elsewhere and it is half the price and just a short drive away. So overall much cheaper to shop elsewhere
Fabulous shop and absolutely delicious, stunning cakes. I’ve had several cakes from Anna over the years and they taste amazing. Everyone is always so amazed and wowed when the box is opened. Highly recommend.

Everyone commented on how lovely my Christmas cakes looked this year. I got my cake boards, icing, decoration cutters and a few other bits from here.
Also, Anna and Steve go above and beyond to give the best customer service possible.

LOVE this cake shop when buying my supplies. Have done for a long time. But my views were cemented this weekend when I called to check they were open as I needed 2 last minute cake boards. They were shut & just about to leave the store when I called. But told me she would hang around for me to arrive so I could get them. My sale came to £2.20 and she knew this but still was happy to hang around and wait for me to get there. Always such amazing service. Always such friendly faces! Such good quality and great value always. FOREVER RECOMMEND THIS CAKE SHOP!!

Great stock of supplies for the amateur and experienced cake baker. They also provide courses too which are professionally taught but at the same time friendly and laid back. Anna is lovely and always has time to give advice, makes you feel like a friend.
The cake I requested was designed to quality!!. The design placed on the cake had intricate details that matched my request and above. At very short notice Pink Icing produced a cake that I didn't want to cut as it was so beautiful in its presentation.
