Last week was my 1st visit to Pine's Chippy and we enjoyed the food that much, I was back this week again for our Friday nyt takeaway. Would thoroughly recommend this chippy and I will be back again soon ????
Home delivery. The food always arrives hot and freshly made. Fish is always fresh and well cooked. Batter crispy. No complaints at all.
Good variety of chip shop foods, portion sizes are okay (1.5 fish with a regular fish supper, it used to be 2) and it tastes really good.
Slight problem is the speed of service, it can be very slow and they really struggle around peak times. I'd have given a 4* review if the speed of service was better as the food is good when you get it.
Was in at around 6.45pm tonight, ordered x2 haggis suppers & a single sausage. Wee guy serving me was lovely, waited over 10 mins for order, but ok as busy time. However the attitude of the short dark haired woman who was dishing the food into cartons was terrible! When my order was ready I was asked again what condiments I wanted on my meals, advised I wanted everything on 1 supper & only salt & vinegar on other, to which the dark haired woman shouted loudly and aggressively at me “there’s already SAUCE on one do you want sauce on this one!!?? Last time I checked my name was Diane not mystic Meg, how was I to know they had already added condiments to 1 meal? Really do not appreciate being spoken to like that by anyone & especially not in front of a full shop of customers!! Absolutely disgusting behaviour, no excuse!
Looking for a chippy on route to Inverness via Denny. Reviews were good and close by so decided to try it. Well we weren't disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Good service. Fish and chips excellent. Hubby decided to try white pudding and loved it.
Would definitely recommend and deserving of 5 stars.
Bought a fish supper and single chicken never again the order was delivered cold and as you can't reheat chicken it went in the bin the fish supper wasn't much better . This is the 3rd time I have had food delivered cold I have spoken to the girl who took the order and the last time it was delivered warmer but not time. It was just a total waste of money
Ordered a special fish supper, received 2 large fish & it was lovely. Sausages were nice to. Found the haggis a bit spicy but overall, I will buy again from the Pines Chippy
Food was ok but cold by the time i drove home 5mins, this is a few times I've noticed this. Service is OK, staff pleasant and the shop is always busy.
