Ordered 2 large bacon and sausage cobs, our first and unfortunately last visit. The picture displays it all. Over priced poor quality food.
I use to enjoy getting my lunch from here but not anymore!Prices have gone absolutely ridiculous!Near enough £30 for 4 people!Ordered a mushroom and sausage con only to get just more bread no more extra sausages!!!!To also order bacon cob with cheese to find some sweetcorn on it!The chocolate biscuit cake thing was solid! There suppose to be hard but not to the point we can’t even get our teeth through!!!We was not at all impressed over all!I use to enjoy coming to get our lunch but I won’t be coming back after this!We will be going to runway cafe from now on!
Ordered a sausage, bacon and onion baguette, charged an extra £1.75 for the onion which is extortionate!
What was handed to me was a soft roll (not a baguette) containing the cheapest sausages money can buy, bacon and fried onions. I did ask for ketchup, but what I tasted I can only describe as strawberry jam.
All in all not worth the £6.25 paid.
Also the shop inside is not very well presented, with a dirty and unpleasant stale smell.
Come from the sixth form down the road. It's reasonably priced and the food is really good- filling and worth the price. Friendly staff too. There is some seating outside if you so wish, but I've found walking a little down the road to the park is more peaceful to sit and munch away. So yeah, 5 stars from me!
-a broke student who keeps forgetting their lunch
The difference between a large sandwhich and a small if just the bread size they told me / only been going sandwhich shops all over the country for 20 years / first for everything
The bacon cobs are lovely the staff are very welcoming and professional
£3 for what was supposed to be a large bacon sarnie , with butter... absolute joke!!
Stopped for a take away sandwich for our trip up the Tissington Trail.
A small take away shop with a range of breads and sandwich fillings. Also sold drinks, crisps, cakes etc.
I had Tuna Mayo on a baguette which was very nice.
Had to wait a short time while they made the sandwich.
