Earlier today I had the misfortune to experience a rare malfunction of my trustee 21 year old Volvo 940, leaving me stranded at the roadside, steam gently billowing from beneath the bonnet. However I was fortunate in knowing exactly who to call – my brother and I have been delighted with the services of Steve and Gary at Pete's Motors in West Moors. Expecting to have to call a tow service and wait for a couple of hours, I was delighted when Steve offered to give me a tow. I was not expecting a swift repair and was prepared for a lengthy bus journey home to Southampton, so I was so pleased to receive a call when I was visiting my mother, that Steve had fixed the problem and I was once again mobile. Total time from incident to fix: 2 hours 5 minutes. I have never received such swift service and was quite prepared to be off the road for a few days. Steve went way beyond what I would have expected and I haven't even mentioned the very reasonable bill – I was happy to tip a little extra such was the excellent service. I hope you do not experience the misfortune to breakdown, but if you do, I can not recommend Pete's Motors highly enough – store their number on your phone as I did. Thank you so much Steve and Gary!
Is a rare thing to find somewhere that doesn't bull when it comes to repairs.
Pete's motors were 100% honest when they said they could weld a hole in the exhaust.
Elsewhere stated it needed an expensive new part.
Have found our new 'go to' place for our car servicing needs.
Based on first impressions, can't recommend highly enough.
