We stayed for dinner and pint(s). This is very likely the best steak pie we have ever had. The pub is friendly and welcoming. Never miss a chance to stop by the Perth arms! My pug Alfie loves it here too.
Dog friendly pub with excellent food and service. The Sunday beef roast I just had was the best one I've eaten out ever! The veg was seasonal, colourful, and fresh, mash creamy, beef juicy and rare, gravy jus-like and packed with flavour, and the Yorkshire pud well risen and crispy.
Fabulous local dishes, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The pub menu is great and there are always plenty of interesting Specials on the board to try. The best pub in Dunkeld by far.
The steak pie is to absolutely die for. Service is outstanding and atmosphere is lovely and warm and welcoming.
I’d even go as far as to say, best steak pie I’ve ever had.
We were in Dunkeld in September 23 and were told this was the place. So we visited all three nights we were there. Love love loved it. If you want an authentic, friendly place to eat or grab a drink The PA is it. The locals were incredibly welcoming and best of all puppos are aloud access.

We were looking for a quick dog friendly place for food and couldn't have been happier to find this place!
We were lucky enough to get the last table, under the large TV (with the football on, so a great find if you want this too). Food was an amazing surprise, utterly delicious! Best mac & cheese I have had in years, delicious steak pies and burger. Service was very quick (in & out in a hour for 2 steak pies & chips and a mac & cheese and a big burger and drinks and a dog feed with 2 rounds of drinks in a very busy pub).
Another plus is a lovely park for a dog walk at the end of the road.

Excellent service in the restaurant. We need gluten free food and they were able to offer this with their haddock dish. It was excellent. We also had macaroni cheese which was also delicious. Very reasonable pricing for high quality food. Oh, and dog friendly!
We came to this place accidentally, driving through the town, and got the most wonderful pub food we could have imagined. The fish and chips and steak pie were amazing, and the people were super nice and welcoming.
