Have lived over this side of the water for a good 15 years. Always fancied trying this place and the other night I finally got the confidence to walk in and order. Easily one of the best jacket spuds I've had, a good sized portion for what you pay. I had the chilli with cheese, usually avoid chilli as I'm a wimp with spice but this was perfect. Will definitely be returning for another one soon ????
Lovely meals and atmosphere but this is a cash only service. If you didn't know that before you went you will have to go and find a cash machine, although there is one just a 100 metres up the road.
Simply the best jacket potato place in southampton. Have known the owner for over 30 years. Very clean and consistent with the same mouthwatering taste every time. Call ahead to save waiting for your order.
So lucky to have this gem of a takeaway near to our house. The keep the menu simple and so excel in what they offer. The spud plus with beef bolognaise and sweetcorn is my favourite and would gladly have that at least weekly. If they opened at weekends and got themselves on Deliveroo they could make a fortune - but equally appreciate they clearly do well enough as it is and why overcomplicate a fantastic business!

Amazing, have eaten here for over 20 years.
Chicken curry and Chips or Rice is my choice with a Cheesy garlic bread.
The potatoes are a local favorite with many toppings to choose from and very reasonably priced.
Basic but big menu to suit
Every pocket, children's menu, large jacket potatoes with lots of home made fillings choices.
Took us 15 minutes to get home, our jackets were still boiling hot.
I will be going back again very soon.
The place was clean, fast service, be aware CASH ONLY no delivers, closed on Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays.
Was introduced by partner's family. Thought it was a bit odd getting a jacket potato as a takeaway but I can see why they rave about it. Food is amazing, no faff and the staff are friendly without the forced small talk you sometimes get in takeaways.
My only qualm is the lack of plant-based/vegan-friendly options (other than plain beans).
