Sales assistants are not very polite and nice to clients. But it’s not the worst. They take the bakery without any gloves right after touching money. This is the only one store from this chain where I saw something like that. Please teach your people how important is to put on gloves every single time.
Great food but the staff and management is extremely rude and unprofessional. You will not see anyone smilling in this shop.
I was given an old vegetable pastry which smelt bad as it was kept in the fridge and warmed up in the oven when served.

Bakeries are always nice but this place stood out for me because of the help they give to charity and I have seen with my own eyes how much they help some of those who are less fortunate than others and with that I have never read anywhere about them boasting over it, I don't suppose many choose that lifestyle and I believe that it is a sin to throw away perfectly good food, so I take my hat off to Percy ingles, unsung Samaritans.
I have been to other percy ingles and the staff are very polite but this one in Stratford centre the staff are very rude they talk in there own language to each other while they are serveing you it makes you feel uncomfortable they also are not wearing gloves or masks and there is no screens to protect you I won't be going back to this branch of percy ingles
