Wow ! The best Chinese food we’ve had in Oakwood. Everything was piping hot ,full of taste too! And the great service every time I order. Would recommend!!!
Disappointed in this meal. It was delivered on time and was hot but we just didn't enjoy the food. Tough prawn toasts tasteless chicken with cashews, despite the cost not even a few prawn crackers, dry vermicelli noodles in the chow mein (and it included a mushroom which could be harmful to some people).
Has Peony House changed hands? Have been using this take away for over 20 years but on the last few occasions the food has been really poor!
Amazing !!! Always look forward to our food from here, clean, fresh food, friendly, never once been disappointed and I'm pretty hard to please.
Always been a 5 star Chinese!! I will not order a Chinese from anywhere else the staff are super friendly and the food is gorgeous

First time order as new to the area. Unfortunately I wouldn’t order again as I have never had a more bland tasteless Chinese. My king prawn sweet and sour balls were like prawns in dumplings whereas I am used to them in a crispy batter but again that’s my preference. The beef in black bean sauce meal tasted of nothing. Sorry, not for me however I can see others enjoy this restaurant so I wouldn’t want to put anyone else off!
First time takeaway today at Peony House for myself and wife. The man who served us was really friendly.
We both enjoyed our food and will definitely be returning!
