Best KPortal Reviews
Stopped off on our way to Tenby. Had a lovely coffee and bacon, sausage and egg sandwich. Very reasonably priced and service was quick and with a smile. We had to sit outside because we had our dog with us, but lovely seating area. Will definitely be on our list as a regular stop off whenever we visit South Wales
Great service and really good coffee! full English was good and a great size for the price. the homemade quiche and scotch eggs looked really good also. Only slight complaint was the full English was a tad to oily especially how the mushrooms were cooked but apart from that all good!
It's always an unknown stopping for lunch on big rides when you don't know the area. Penygawse ticked all the boxes; friendly, helpful staff, seating outside to keep an eye on the bikes, quick service and great food at a decent price. Should we come back this way again we now know where to go!
Popped in this café twice as it was a safe haven for 2 nutters who decided to camp in Llandovery in late March. The full/light English breakfast they served was fantastic (It was very much needed...) as well as being a great value for money. The staff they have are incredibly friendly and service is efficient. You will not be let down if you come here!
We always make a point of visiting Penygawse when we come to Llandovery. Alun and his team are very attentive. The all-day breakfast is very very filling.
When you say OPEN be open.|Went in at 7 minutes to 3 pm. Sunday 28th JANUARY |Told we couldn't have any hot food !!!!|IF you want repeat business, this is Not the way to get it.|We definitely Will NOT come back. We were so shocked we didn't have a drink. It wasn't as though it was busy at all. Seemed properly Staffed altogether the 2 behind the counter were putting crockery away. Very disappointing!!!!!
Best latte and bakewell I've had in a very long time! Wonderful historic cafe. Comfortable. Welcoming staff. Definitely returning! Thank you. Highly recommend!
Very strong roast coffee, got a good kick from it. The presentation can be better (as you can see) but it is still a good place to have a quick pit stop. Oh the coffee cake is delicious.
