These guys ( James) just saved our holiday plans! Arrived in Newlyn yesterday and car wouldn’t lock. This was quite late so we were pretty stressed. Local Land Rover dealership was very unhelpful but a few calls later I got through to this business. Was advised what could be the problem - we haven’t had the car very long - and the car is sorted! I was recommended to use Penwith Service Centre by GMO Garage as I have a Porsche. My car had broken down and was recovered to Penwith Service Centre. During this very stressful time, having the car recovered, Jeff could not of done more to help and reassure me, he went beyond what would be expected to help me, and made what was a very stressful ordeal, a very easy and stress free experience. He kept me updated to the progress, and even helped me when making a AA claim for costs, he was to say the least amazing.The service and repairs were outstanding, and they could not of done more. I live in Wales, but would happily drive to Cornwall just to have my car repaired or serviced by Penwith Service Centre. Can i just add I am a woman on her own, and to find a trusted garage is so important. The best service and repairs I have ever received. I cannot recommended them highly enough. Quite exceptional service! It's rare! Geoff and his team at Penwith went that extra step to solve my problems when my Mercedes died on me. Within 24 hours during which I had a much needed courtesy car, a new alternator had been found and fitted. Recommended.
I don’t often feel the need to write reviews however after my elderly grandparents where travelling down to Cornwall their Land Rover freelander broke down.
They were rescued by Green Flag who got them going but they then broke down 20 miles from Penzance and had to tow a caravan at 25 mph as Green Flag don’t come back out to the same fault within 28 days (which in itself is terrible customer service).
After originally taking the car to Carrs Land Rover (main dealer) they were told the turbo actuator had seized but couldn’t be repaired until the end of the following week.
We then contacted Penwith 4x4 and they couldn’t have been any more helpful and efficient. After being asked to bring the car in the next day they managed to resolve the issue without any fuss.
They were honest, professional and extremely courteous and in this day and age you couldn’t ask for any more.
