Pen’s Kitchen is a great Thai restaurant serving a variety of dishes and drinks, as well as some western food.
The food is really good and I came back after the first time for more - the serving size is big and the taste is delicious, with a great price.
I’d definitely return in the future if I am in Pai.
This place is incredible!
They probably serve the best food in town, there is only place for around maybe 20 people since they only got a small place with 6 tables.
You will see this place full all the time, the food is incredible tasty, and you get a good amount for a fair price!
I would recommend trying the dish “ fried rice “Panang” curry. Definitely worth it!
If you are looking for local food made with a local heart then this is your best choice!
첫날 도착해서 먹은 팟타이. 50바트. 맛있어요. 다른 곳보다 아주 조금 비싸지만 그만큼 깨끗하고 양도 많고 맛있습니다.

this was my 3rd attempt to eat here. It's been too full my last 2 visiits, so I came here at 18:15 with a friend and it was empty. Half an hour later and it was full. My advice, go here at around 6pm. they have free wifi. Service was fast and friendly. I had the massaman curry for 80 Baht and it came with free rice. I had a small Chang for 50 Baht. The food arrived fairly quickly and the portion was huge a bowl full of curry plus rice. It was very tasty. this place and the air restaurant down the road are now my 2 favourite places in Pai.
I feel a bit bad only giving 2 stars here as staff seemed nice. However, I ordered a shake with no sugar and it came out super sweet, if it was just a little sugar I would of grinned and bared it but I had to say something, they made me a new one and it was fine although the glass was tiny compared to other restaraunts offering shakes at the same price. The pineapple fried rice unfortunately was extremely salty, they must of spilt the salt shaker or something because there's no way it's always like that if this place has 4.5 stars overall from reviews. It's a real shame because it would of been a tasty dish if I could taste anything but salt (it was like having a glass of sea water). The owner should really hide the salt and sugar jars from whoever's cooking because had they been locked away in a cupboard, i would of given this place a 4 star rating.
Good portion sizes but not as tasty of a Khao Soi compared to other restaurants. The pad thai was very good. There are only four or five tables so it may be busy when you come by. They were also a lot of flies buzzing around all the tables we counted at least 10 and that was a bit annoying, but what can you expect with outdoor seating.
Good thai kitchen, but nothing fancy or having an extraordinary taste in their food. Had the Panang Curry. Positive was that they serve very fast after you have ordered. I can recommend to go there when you want Thai food while having a seat as it is same priced as the night market around the corner
The best in Pai. We have been in Pai for over a month and have tried a very huge variety of different places for food but Pen’s Kitchen wins the award as far as overall taste, price and portion size. The Penang Curry is our favorite, we add a fried egg over the rice making it 80 Baht for more than enough ????
