Best KPortal Reviews
The delicious pizzas on the menu were a delightful surprise, offering a perfect complement to the diverse drink options. However, the limited seating was a slight drawback, making it challenging to secure a table during peak hours.
Despite this, the vibrant atmosphere and exceptional offerings make it a must-visit for beer and pizza enthusiasts willing to savor a cozy experience.
Comes across as a craft beer pub more than a classic english. Lots of taps. A little tricky to make out what they have, and when busy you don’t get a lot of time with the staff to discuss options. Still a good vibe to it and fairly easy to find a spot to stand at least.
Good selection of ales and lagers (foreign) no Foster’s or Carling.
Well worth a look if you into beer.
A well populated pub with city goers
Extensive choice of beer. A number of cask ales in condition. German specialty beers. Even a real high juice cider on tap. Popular with office groups. In an arch under the station. Quirky decor. Loos clean; decor could do with a wee refresh here. Service okay, but could be more friendly; a smile and some sort of engagement is nice when it’s not busy. All in all good drinks and good choice.
The Pelt Trader, a cellar bar with a bit of a Bavarian feel to it. Good beer, fairly priced. Staff are helpful and welcoming. A short visit but a good one. Busy lunchtime here today.
Very good pub in an arch under Cannon Street Station. Four cask beers on handpump when I last visited. A couple of tables outside. The menu offers a variety of pizzas. Not too busy at around 18:30 on a Wednesday when I visited. The pub does not open at weekends.
How the pizza can be so tasty in this pub?? And the pizza is huge, at first I thought we can not finish this but at the end, it was all gone. I like the pub and the pizza❤️
This is my go to boozer in the City. Always a good selection of craft beers and lagers to keep everyone happy. Can get busy after work but calms down by about 7. Speedy service too. All round a winner!
