Oh my god what an awful experience I can't belive this place is offering a 24 hour mental health walking that is supposed to be a safe place.
The nurses on tonight were aggressive and very unprofessional their tone was so rude that the service user was pretty much scared away and doesn't have a safe place to go to.
The security guard was angry and wasn't going to allow entry into a 24 hour service .It felt like we were interupting their night.
They spoke over the person and not to them.
What a shame as our past experience with them was faultless but unfortunately tonight on the 27th of Jan was awful and has scared a young person of ever using the service again.
Disgusting totally disgusting.
I received my second COVID vaccine dose at Peckwater Centre this week. Both the medical staff and vaccination marshals were very friendly and helpful and the process was well organised.
COVID19 Vaccination programme showing the best of the NHS. Friendly and super efficient, just brilliant.
Visited a few years ago too for physio also excellent!
Got my vaccine here today. Very well organized from first questions outside the door, then a consultation, socially distanced queuing, socially distanced sitting outside the five rooms where vaccinations actually happen. At the end you have to wait for 15 minutes but the chairs are comfy and the staff and volunteers very friendly.
Nice volunteers and friendly service, but unfortunately I was vaccinated here and they did not update my NHS record accordingly. They are also currently closed and don't publish contact info online, so it's been kind of an administrative pain to get my record updated and schedule a second jab. This long process could be avoided if they had updated my record when I received the shot.
Queued for an hour and a half for a booster shot. Was told by a volunteer that I was number 107 and they only had 100 doses, but that they may be able to source some more. Then told that they had 30 more, so we would receive the booster today.
Then told by a different volunteer that they are only taking over 35's, even though we had heard plenty of people in front of us telling the volunteers they are 25, 26 etc and being let in. Why change the rules at the last moment? This volunteer was also rude to myself and my girlfriend.
Excellent vaccination team, very welcoming and helpful. Whole process took a total of less than 30 min including the 15 min rest time, minimal waiting. Highly recommend and will try to book here again for my second dose!
Got the vaccine on June 17, good and quick service. But the person injecting me with the vaccine kept his distance from me as if I was a germ or something. He injected by only using his one hand that too with a distance. Due to the distance the injection was painful to me, normally two hands are used to avoid discomfort to the person/patient. I tried to look at the syringe, he kept hiding it which gave me many thoughts, one was that was he re-using the syringe? I hope not but such cases have been reported from 2005 to 2013 in the UK. He was in the 1st room wearing green shirt. I will be getting a test at 90 days and I hope its all clear. Always check whether the healthcare worker has changed their syringe or not, sadly I wasn't able to do because I was having a pre-vaccination anxiety.
