Installed cheap version of coil pack (DCR Auto Electrics advised this) but not advised of difference in quality when installed, and still getting the issues with car engine stopping, after work all done this was changed: £78.68 coil pack, £30 diagnostic check, £28.80 crank sensor, and £165.13 fuel pump... A lot of money for nothing if getting same issue to begin with... After my 75 year old mother car broke down, once again took it to DCR Auto Electrics because advise from Peartree only other issue it could be is the connector coil, but had more issues with this other garage being ripped off with another, but this time £35 Diagnostic check at their garage to be told no issues with connectors, and guess what, car broken down again...
Always received a good, honest, first class service from Tony. He has always told me “ as it is” though it is not always what I want to hear. He gives me the best advice that he can about the car and charged an honest price.
One of my car's daytime running lights went off. I got a message on my dashboard saying so. I got out and checked it and it was off. Then I found this place and it was done the same day while I waited. As I had a spare bulb, the bloke replaced it in a jiffy and only charged me a fiver.
The odd thing about it was it was back on by the time he looked at it, but he checked it anyway and said it was dud, because it was all black. I thought I was imagining it for a moment.
I couldn't get to it. He took something off first to get to it. The manual recommends removing the bumper to get to it, which is a hell of a job in itself.
He had to help me get the car out again for me, as I was having some trouble manouevering. It was very embarrassing.
Peartree Garage: the first one I've been to who isn't a ripoff merchant. The others would have charged me a couple of hundred quid.
Absolutely brilliant... took my car in, gave me a courtesy car until mine was fixed...I honestly can't fault them...

I called this garage as I was working locally and had a loose wheel of all things, on looking two nuts were missing. On calling I was told just to pop in and they would have a look. I went round and the wheels were all checked and new nuts were ordered for later in the day.I called back nuts were fitted and the car is now perfect. Thank you for fitting me in,when I was pretty well stuck not from being from the area . Thank you
Guys are great. They do as they say and don't over charge. Nice fast service.
Note: The garage did the work on Monday, I just felt like my brakes failed and went back, the guys checked over their work and everything else, to make sure no faults existed and one of the mechanics even decided to test drive my car with me in it, to ensure everything was fine. Turns out I hit black ice. Again, the garage and staff are good at what they do and very friendly.
Service absolutely first class - all concerned couldn't be more helpful. Charges very reasonable. Have been dealing with this Garage for years and never had any problems. Would definitely recommend
