Tried for the 1st time on our visit. The food was amazing, and the staff was really friendly and will definitely use it again when we visit. Food portions were a good size and so tasty cant rate them high enough there service was too they were incredibly busy and got my food in good time
No idea what’s going on with the Chinese. We ordered 6 meals and they got 4 wrong! When I rang to complain they said if I’d brought it straight back they would have sorted it out and my husband should have listened when the girl repeated it to him. However, my husband only picked it up and didn’t order it. The food was very average too. I have always rated this Chinese but not now.
On holiday in the area for my 40th birthday and all I wanted was a relaxing day and a Chinese! Got the relaxing day but this Chinese is absolutely awful! Got the mixed starter and every bit was so old and dry! The duck pancakes were an absolute joke! No one could have eaten that duck! It was rock hard! So upset . £45 for a meal for 2 adults and a child and we literally gave it to the dogs and ate jars of cockles and pot noodles! You don't even get free prawn crackers or anything! At least they would have been edible!

I must say the food is very lovely.
BUT I must say the owner is very argumentative. Questioned why they do not accept card payments in 2021 and in Covid season and his excuse was he doesn’t want to pay the card payment, which I must say it’s 0.75% which is only 75 pence per 100 pounds. Forcing me to touch on money and an atm just to buy dinner. Not acceptable in the current climate and the day and age we are living. Shame as the food is nice.
As no delivery available collected what should have been 2 chicken meals dove back 9 miles to cottage to find one meal was chicken and one was pork. Phoned to complain and they stated it was chicken, unfortunately I can not eat pork so it went in bin as they wanted me to dive all the way back with one meal which they assured me was chicken. Would never go there again as you don't know what you are getting
